Summary: Nice quiet place Driveway really steep but not a problem for us

Summary: The information packet provided was out of date: the number to the property manager was incorrect and the number to the cleaning company was disconnected! No code had been provided to unlock the door, and contacting anyone proved to be interesting. We never did manage to connect to wifi as that information was also defunct.Beyond that, the reviews are correct inasmuch as cleanliness: the house is tidy but it needs a good deep-cleaning. The grounds are unkempt. The hot tub was cloudy but cleared up after cycling a while. The indoor jet tub spewed soil (or something) so that was a no-go. The grill outside is decrepit and in need of replacing; I wouldn't trust cooking food on it. And, as advertised, the driveway IS very steep, with little room for two larger vehicles to maneuver. Despite these things, we DID actually enjoy our stay. The porch is lovely to sit on, with three of the four rockers being functional. The fireplaces were great. The pool table was fun. The kitchen is equipped enough to be helpful. The linens and towels appeared fresh and clean. Altogether, we would do this again.

Summary: First warning: very steep driveway and small parking area at the top. We had pulled a 8x10 trailer loaded with wedding decorations for my daughters wedding in Pigeon Forge. My truck and trailer barely fit in the parking space and we had to unload it and move it by hand to get my truck back down the driveway. We made it work. The owner has been having troubles with the cleaning staff and maintenance staff which we found out with a broken dryer, slow draining sink and tub in one of the bathrooms and broken handles on the fridge, the pool table has duck tape holding it together. The cabin itself and sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and we had no other issues other than what I just stated. We would definitely stay here again, but if you choose this cabin and you are towing a trailer, you might want to reconsider. Other than that we enjoyed staying there at the cabin for the week of my daughters wedding. I hope Mike (the owner) can get the issues repaired and get back on track.

Summary: We stayed at Hearts Ease from 9/16-24. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The cabin was clean, had a well equipped kitchen and there were enough supplies for dishes, laundry and paper goods. There were several housekeeping issues that I passed on to the cleaning staff by note when we left, nothing that needed a call to the owner. The cabin is very comfortable. It has been lovingly well used by families with kids and dogs. HOWEVER...be prepared for the road up to the cabin. It was scary the first day. It was raining hard and difficult to see. When going up, give your car the gas and yell, "Yee Haw!" and you'll be fine!!! Also, I did't walk our dog along the back side of the house. The first time I did, a horse apple fell out of a tree and and clunked the dog in the head. I swear she had tears in her eyes. Bring a good flashlight, the motion sensor will go off and doesn't always go back on with movement. All in all, we had s great time. Mike is readily available and was a great communicator during the initial planning stages. The view off the deck is beautiful. We just loved this cabin!! If you are thinking of renting this cabin, you won't regret it.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay.Little disappointed about the view from the back deck.We didnt use the pool table but it does need to be fixed.A little outdated but we liked the cabin.

Summary: The 4 of us and our 3 dogs enjoyed our time at Heartsease. Mike was super helpful and easily reachable. When we arrived we were immediately apprehensive about the hill/driveway, we called Mike and he helped us through it, making our time a breeze. Yes the cottage has a different view, you can still see the mountain tops but trees have grown in the valleys, you don’t need to see the bottom of the mountain and it’s still a beautiful sight to wake up to. The house has definitely been abused by some guests. That actually made us more comfortable as we didn’t expect perfection. it had everything we could need and everything worked. We really enjoyed the jacuzzis and hot tub after walking all day. The house is in a prime location as we went to Pigeon Forge, Gaitlinburg, Cades Cove, Clingman’s Dome, The Island, Dollywood, Knoxville and Tuckalechee Caverns. The only issue we had was that the dryer seems to take a few runs to dry clothes but we made it work. The beds were comfy and plenty of towels were available. The rooms were spacious and plenty of blankets for the cool nights. Our dogs also appreciated the cottage and enjoyed sitting on the deck while we enjoyed the hot tub. The owners guide to the area was a nice touch to find just what your looking for and how things work in the cabin. I’d recommend this cottage and was happy with our stay.

Summary: Great location. Cozy home. Does need some updating but it’s a cabin in the woods and that’s exactly what you get. Yes the driveway is steep but it’s nothing impossible. The only real disappointment was the view. It is all very over grown u can’t see anything past the patio. Just weeds and trees. U can’t really see the mountains because of how over grown it all is. I would stay again.

Summary: The pool table is kinda broken and the grill was gross but other than that everything was great!

Summary: The cabin was very dirty. Dust everywhere, the he outside step have a mossy feeling - I feel twice die the steps. And fyi. No I don’t drink. The drains in the whirlpools wouldn’t drain.

Summary: We were in town for 8 days for our sons dance competition & absolutely LOVED the place! Located in a very peaceful / secluded part of the mountains yet only 1 mile from Dollywood & other major attractions. Very easy to get to & has a beautiful view!
