9 Ideas for Flower Doodles in Your Bujo

There are so many different ways you can include floral doodles in your journal. Before I go today, I wanted to leave you with a few ideas to get your creativity going!

  1. Floral Banner - You can create a banner as a header in your journal and add amazing doodles around it to add a nice touch to your journal pages.

  2. Flower Frame - You can choose simple shapes for a frame. I've seen rectangles, squares, diamonds, and perfect circles or ovals. Then, add a simple flower doodle or surround the shape with plant doodles!

  3. Create a floral border in your journal to add personality.

  4. Use different kinds of flowers for a mood tracker or habit tracker to make tracking fun!

  5. Create step flower tutorials to share with the bullet journal community.

  6. Create a brain dump page as a creative outlet when you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed. Doodling is a great way to decompress!

  7. Make a "Floral Doodle Idea" page in your journal for quick reference and inspiration.

  8. Decorate your weekly spreads and make your weekly dazzle! A floral-themed spread is always a winner.

  9. Floral wreath - Take a look at the incredibly talented Sarah-Jane from @essjay_florals on Instagram! Her florals are so unique and inspiring that you can't help but love her work! Her wreaths are beautiful, and this is only a tiny sample of her work. If you are not already following this lovely girl, head over to her Instagram by clicking the picture!

Practice, Practice, Practice Doodling Flowers!

To finish up this post, I want to encourage you to practice. Anyone can doodle if you start with basic doodles first. Flowers are popular things to doodle, and they are easy to practice! What is your favorite thing to doodle?

You can also think of a doodle as a simple drawing. That makes it less intimidating if you are just starting out. One of the first things I tell people who are learning how to doodle is to start drawing basic shapes and then putting them together to make a picture! It really is that simple.
